When does VETBIO use end-user information received from third parties?

VETBIO collects data from end users when necessary to provide services to clients. End users may voluntarily provide us with information they share on social media. If you share such information, we may collect publicly available data from those platforms. You can control the amount of information made public by adjusting your privacy settings on the relevant platforms.

When does VETBIO use client information received from third parties?

We may receive certain information from third parties when you contact us. For example, if you provide your email address to express interest in becoming a VETBIO client, we may receive automated fraud prevention or risk assessment data from third-party services. We may also collect publicly available information from social networks. You can control the visibility of such information through your platform’s privacy settings.

Do we share collected information with third parties?

We may share both personal and non-personal information with third parties such as advertisers, contest sponsors, marketing partners, and others whose products or services may interest you. We may also share data with our current and future affiliates and business partners. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or business restructuring, we may transfer your personal and non-personal information to the new entity.

We may also engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf — such as website hosting and server maintenance, data storage, email services, marketing activities, payment processing, order fulfillment, and customer support. These third parties may have access to personal information as needed to perform their tasks but are obligated not to use it for other purposes.

We may share log data and IP addresses with third parties

We may share portions of log file data, including IP addresses, with third parties for analytics purposes — such as web analytics partners, app developers, and advertising networks. If an IP address is shared, it may be used to determine your approximate location and technical characteristics, such as connection speed, access via a public network, or the type of device used to access the site. These third parties may aggregate data related to our ads and content that you view, and may provide us and advertisers with audit reports, research, and summaries.

    Disclosure to authorities

We may disclose personal or non-personal information about you to government agencies, law enforcement authorities, or private individuals if we believe it is reasonably necessary to respond to legal requests (including court summons), to protect our rights, the rights of others, or public safety, or to comply with legal obligations, judicial rulings, or applicable laws and regulations.

Any information we collect from you may be used in one or more of the following ways:

    • To personalize your experience (your information helps us better respond to your individual needs)

    • To improve our website (we continually improve our services based on your feedback and behavior)

    • To enhance client support (your information helps us respond more effectively to inquiries and requests)

    • To process transactions

    • To manage contests, promotions, surveys, or other site features

    • To send periodic email newsletters

      Email Communications and Consent

By providing your email address on this page, you agree to receive email communications from us. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by following the instructions in the message. We only send emails to users who have given their explicit consent — either directly or via a third party. We do not send unsolicited or spam messages.

By providing your email address, you also agree that it may be used for targeted advertising purposes on platforms such as Facebook, where we may display personalized ads to users who have agreed to receive communications from us.

Email addresses submitted through the order form are used exclusively for sending order-related updates and information. However, if you have provided the same address in other contexts, we may use it for additional purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Note: If you ever wish to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed instructions at the bottom of each email.

How long do we store your data?

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide you with services through VETBIO and to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy. The same applies to any third parties with whom we share your data and who provide services on our behalf. When your information is no longer needed, or no longer required for legal or regulatory purposes, we will delete it from our systems or anonymize it so that it can no longer be associated with you.

How do we protect your data?

We implement a range of security measures to ensure your personal data remains safe when you place an order, enter, submit, or access your information. Only authorized personnel have access to this data.

We provide the option to use a secure server. All confidential and financial data is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and encrypted in the database of our payment gateway provider. Access to this data is limited to authorized personnel with special access rights who are required to keep the information confidential.

Once a transaction is completed, your personal data (credit card numbers, social security numbers, financial information, etc.) is not stored on our system.

While we implement safeguards, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any data transmitted to VETBIO. We also cannot guarantee that such information will not be accessed, altered, or destroyed due to breaches of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

      Is my data transferred internationally?

VETBIO is registered in Ukraine. Information collected via our website or through direct interaction with you or your use of our services may occasionally be transferred to our offices, staff, or third parties located around the world. This data may be viewed or stored in any country, including those that may not have comprehensive data protection laws.

Where permitted by applicable law, any such international data transfers will only occur if you voluntarily consent to them.

Is the data collected through VETBIO secure?

We take your data protection seriously. We have implemented physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, maintain data security, and ensure proper use of your data.

No system or person — including encryption systems — is 100% secure. Human error, policy violations, or criminal activity may occur. While we take reasonable steps to safeguard your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute protection. If applicable laws impose specific requirements for personal data security, you agree that our adherence to those requirements will be evaluated against standard practices and not unreasonable expectations.

Can I update or correct my information?

Your rights to update or correct personal information collected by VETBIO depend on your relationship with the company. Employees may update or correct their data based on internal HR policies.

Clients may request the following, as outlined below:

      • Update or correct personal information

      • Change preferences regarding communications or other information

      • Delete personal data stored in your account by requesting account deletion

Such updates or deletions will not affect other data already stored or shared in accordance with this Privacy Policy prior to your request.

To protect your privacy and security, we may take reasonable steps (e.g., request a unique password) to verify your identity before granting access or making any changes.

You are responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality of your passwords and account details.

From a technical standpoint, it may not be possible to fully delete all backup copies of the data you’ve provided. Due to routine backup procedures, some data may persist in formats that are not easily accessed or deleted. However, upon receiving your request, personal data actively used in our systems will be updated, corrected, or deleted to the extent technically feasible.

      Personnel

If you are an employee or job applicant at VETBIO, we collect the personal information you voluntarily provide. We use this information to manage HR processes, including employee benefits and candidate evaluation.

      • Change your communication preferences

      • Request a copy of the data we hold about you

These changes will not affect information already shared with third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy before the changes were made.

This also applies to cases of business discontinuation, bankruptcy, or reorganization, provided that the third party agrees to comply with this Privacy Policy.

All data shared with affiliated companies will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

      Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Ukraine, excluding any conflict of law principles. By using our services, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ukrainian courts in connection with any dispute or claim arising from this Privacy Policy, except where required otherwise by applicable international treaties, such as the EU-U.S. or Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks.

Закони України, за винятком принципів конфлікту законів, регулюватимуть цю Угоду та ваше використання нашого вебсайту. Також ваше використання сайту може підпадати під дію інших місцевих, державних, національних або міжнародних законів.

      Your Consent

We have updated our Privacy Policy to provide full transparency regarding the data we collect when you visit our website and how it is used. By using the VETBIO service, creating an account, or making a purchase, you consent to this Privacy Policy and accept its terms.

      Links to Other Websites

This Privacy Policy applies only to our Services. The Service may contain links to third-party websites that are not operated or controlled by VETBIO. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed on such websites, and we do not verify them for completeness or reliability. Once you leave our platform and visit another website, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. Your interactions on external sites, including those linked from our platform, are governed by the privacy policies of those sites. Third parties may use their own cookies or data collection methods.

      Cookies

VETBIO uses cookies to identify which sections of the site you have visited. A cookie is a small data file stored in your browser on your computer or mobile device. We use cookies to improve site performance and functionality, but they are not mandatory for use. Without cookies, some features (e.g., embedded videos) may not work properly, or you may be required to re-enter your login credentials more frequently because we cannot remember your session.

Most browsers allow users to disable cookies. However, doing so may result in parts of the website not functioning properly. We never store personal data in cookies.

Blocking and Disabling Cookies and Similar Technologies

Regardless of your location, you can adjust your browser settings to block cookies and similar technologies. Please note, this may affect how the website functions and may restrict access to certain features (e.g., login preferences or customization).

Different browsers provide different methods for managing cookies. Disabling cookies or specific categories of cookies does not automatically delete them — this must be done manually via your browser settings. For details, please refer to the “Help” section of your browser.

      Remarketing Services

We use remarketing services. What is remarketing? In digital marketing, remarketing (also known as retargeting) refers to the display of online ads to users who have previously visited your website. This allows your brand to "follow" users across the internet by showing them relevant ads on the platforms and sites they use most often.

      Payment Information

If you provide us with any banking or payment details, we guarantee that this information will be stored as securely as possible.

      Children's Privacy

We may collect information from children under the age of 13 solely to improve our services. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us. If we learn that we have collected such data without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete it from our servers.

      Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our services and policies, and as a result, we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect those changes. If changes are not legally required, we will notify you (e.g., via the Service) before they take effect so you have a chance to review them. If you continue to use the Service after updates are made, it means you agree to the new terms. If you do not agree, you may delete your account.

      Third-Party Services

We may display, integrate, or provide access to third-party content (including data, information, applications, products, or services), or link to external websites or services (“Third-Party Services”).

You acknowledge and agree that VETBIO is not responsible for the Third-Party Services, including their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, copyright compliance, legality, decency, quality, or any other aspect. VETBIO is not liable to you or any other person or organization for use of such Third-Party Services.

Access to these services is provided solely for your convenience. Use of such services is entirely at your own risk and subject to the terms of use of the respective third-party provider.

      Facebook Pixel

Facebook Pixel is an analytics tool that helps measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding user interactions on your website or app. You may use Pixel to ensure your ads reach the right audience.

Facebook Pixel may collect information from your device while using the Service. This data is stored in accordance with Facebook’s Privacy Policy.

      Tracking Technologies

      Google Maps API

Google Maps API is a powerful tool used to create customized maps, search features, location tracking, route mapping, and more based on live data.

Google Maps API may collect information about you and your device for security and functionality purposes.
All collected information is stored in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

      Cookies

We use cookies to improve the performance and functionality of our platform. While not essential for basic use, some features (e.g., video playback) may not work correctly without them, or you may be required to log in each time you visit, as we won't be able to "remember" your previous session.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / RODO)

We may collect and process your data if you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA). In this section, we explain how and why your data is collected and the steps we take to protect it from misuse.

      What is RODO (GDPR)?

RODO (also known as GDPR) is a Europe-wide regulation on data protection and privacy that outlines how companies must protect the personal data of EU citizens. It enhances user control over how their personal information is collected and used.

RODO applies not only to companies based in the EU but also to any global business serving EU citizens. Because of this, we’ve implemented compliance mechanisms that meet RODO standards to ensure proper data handling worldwide.
